Chavara Colony Development Project

The economically backward colonies located in Patturaickal and Punkunnam are part of this project. Once living in dilapidated houses, in starvation and extreme poverty, the residents are now conscientised about education, health, hygiene, income generation programmes and family budgeting through the intervention programs of KESS under this project. Festival celebrations, housing support, nutritious food, health care and medical support, support to the elderly and handicapped, education support etc have created a positive outlook and impact to the inhabitants.
