Kuriakose Elias Service Society (KESS) was initiated in 1974 by the CMI priests of Devamatha Province, Thrissur, Kerala. The society finds its energy from the words and actions of St. Kuriakose Elias and is committed to work for the causes of poor and the downtrodden with a special emphasis on women empowerment and care for the ostracised. The organisation is a registered charitable society with like minded people from different walks of the life coming together for a noble cause.

A secular and national level organisation, our long term goal aims to bring about a sustainable growth and development of society so as to achieve a better standard of living and quality that is uniform in all sections of society. The relentless efforts undertaken by KESS till day for empowering the weaker sections of the society has given it an international reputation as a responsible NGO.

We lend a helping hand to the underprivileged through our various projects and programmes in the social, economic, educational and health sector. The society is in the forefront of socially committed activities in and around the country. Our aim of facilitating economic freedom, gender equality and skill training to the community is imparted through our various programmes.
